The Bible in 90 Days challenge will begin soon and we are excited about the response of our faith community. Hundreds are joining in the challenge to read the Bible from cover to cover and we are excited to see how the Lord will use this Bible reading program to encourage and renew our faith family.

Here are some things to remember as you begin the challenge:

• Pray for our church family as we begin this exciting journey together. What a joy it will be to hear the testimonies as the Lord works through this program.
• All materials (Bibles and Participant’s Guides) will be handed out at the first group gathering. Reading begins the day the Bible is taken home.
• Bring $25 to the first meeting for materials.
• Weekly group meetings will provide meaningful times of discussion regarding material read. This, along with exceptional video presentations will provide encouragement to keep up with the reading.
• Your small group facilitator has been trained to handle questions regarding making up video sessions missed and other matters pertaining to group meetings. If additional help is needed, please contact the education office (903.592.7396).

Still not sure about participating in this Bible reading program, come to the B90 Informational Dinner at 5:45 p.m. Sept. 1. Questions will be addressed and there will be opportunity for group sign-up.

If you haven’t yet signed up to be a part of this program, on-line registration closes the evening of Sept. 1.

45 minutes a day?

How can you find 45 minutes a day to read the Bible?

• Pray. If your desire is to seek God through His word, He will honor that request. You will be amazed!
• Recapture time. Do you spend time watching TV, checking up on Facebook, etc,? Instead, make a commitment to redirect that time to God for 90 days. You will be glad you did.
• Make use of technology. Do you spend lots of time in the car? Purchase a Bible on CD and make the most of that commute. Do you like to exercise, walk, work in the yard, etc.? Download the Bible on your MP3.
• Set an example for the family. Do your daily reading while your children do their homework. Let them encourage you too!
• Under stress? Read the Bible before you go to bed. Rest in God as you put aside the worries of the day.
