The strategic vision of the Evangelism Team at Marvin Church is to lead and develop people into a personal faith life that INVESTS the time and energy in those outside our church. This leads to the opportunity to INVITE others into the life of Marvin Church.  INVEST AND INVITE.

In light of the strategic vision of the Evangelism Team, which is Invest and Invite, we realize guests/visitors will be coming to Marvin Church. When people step onto the campus of Marvin UMC, they will be coming with expectations in their hearts. They will also come in contact with numerous volunteer teams that are all here to make sure the experience at MUMC is a great experience. We want our guests/visitors to say “Wow! I’m impressed,” within the first 10 minutes of their visit. We want people to know that they are important to us by providing a warm and safe environment for them to take their next step toward Christ.
 

All of the following volunteer teams make up or will make up the Marvin UMC’s First Impressions Team.  

• Greeter Team - Welcome members and guests at the doors of Marvin.
• Guest Link Team - Host Guest Link on Sunday mornings after the 11 o'clock services.
• First-Time Guest Team - Make an informal phone call to all first-time guests.
• Second-Time Guest Team - Drop a special gift by a second-time guests home.
