Are you interested in being a member of a pilot group that will experience "The Bible in 90 Days" study program for our church? Participants must commit to a three-month study group that will meet weekly while reading the Bible. Dr. Doug Baker will facilitate the group which will begin meeting in March. If you are interested, please contact Dr. Baker. The meeting time has not yet been determined.
Dr. Robbins shares insights from the Book of Revelation through expository Bible study in a lecture format on Wednesday mornings and evenings. This program runs throughout the school year with occasional breaks for holidays. No registration is required.
The Connection Room Ministry allows newcomers to the church and those seeking short-term Sunday morning study opportunities the following thematic studies. Check the church web site, newsletter and bulletin for dates of upcoming classes.

Christian Believer, a class organized around the central teachings of the Christian faith, will begin meeting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 6. The first meeting is an orientation, giving new students study materials and the class workbook. Those who have completed earlier modules are invited to begin attending the sessions the following Wednesday night. This semester’s topics include: Living the Christian Life, the Resurrection of the Body, World and Life without End and The Difference Believing Makes. Class meetings are two hours in length including video presentations and discussion. The outside reading for this class is tremendous. E-mail Patricia Heaton for information.
The children’s Bible study on "Symbols of Faith" meets from 6–7 p.m. on Wednesdays. Kindergarteners through fifth-graders meet in the first-floor assembly room. Children 2, 3 and 4 meet in the nursery.
Men of all ages are invited for weekly fellowship, lunch and study in Pirtle Fellowship Hall. The studies emphasize the application of Christian principles to daily living.

The Monday Morning Men’s Group meets from 6:30–7:30 a.m. in the Wesley Center. Topics include the Nooma video series. Come at 6 a.m. for donuts and fellowship.
Men are invited to Tuesday Morning Bible Study at 6:45 a.m. at The Egg and I. We are studying the book of Romans. Come have breakfast and fellowship, and bring a friend or two. Contact Rev. Marty Dunbar for information.
Senior Adult ministries provide opportunities for fellowship and service for adults age 55 or older. Mature adults give of their time as visitors to the homebound, delivering Meals on Wheels, teaching Sunday School, volunteering in the church and sponsoring Afternoon with Santa in December.
Grown-ups luncheon program is at 11:30 a.m. on the third Thursday of each month in Pirtle Hall.

Children’s choirs (4 year olds–fifth grade) meet from 4:45–5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays
Children’s bells (third–fifth grades) meet from 5:30–6:15 p.m. on Wednesdays
Chancel Choir (adults) meets from 7–9 p.m. on Wednesdays
Youth Choir (sixth–12th grades) meets on Sundays (time T.B.A)
Methodist Munching meets the second Sunday of the month for lunch; pick your time either after the early worship service at 11:15 a.m. or after the late worship service at 12:30 p.m.
Singles Council meets at 6 p.m. on the last Tuesday of each month in the Adult Lounge followed by dinner for all single adults at 7:15 p.m. at Newk’s in September and October and at Traditions in November.
An evening women’s study begins Feb. 24. We will study Beauty by the Book: Seeing Yourself as God Sees You by Nancy Stafford, the speaker at the women’s retreat in April. Rev. Allison Thompson and Julie Love Brown will lead this six-week study about finding identity, value and true beauty. Register on the web site or in the Welcome Center.
The last Thursday of every month, meet in the home of a church member to discuss a book and enjoy fellowship. For information on the schedule of books and locations for meetings, e-mail Brenda Byerly.
MOPS meets from 10 a.m.–noon in the Arts & Crafts/Faith Classroom 240 on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month. To register contact Nicole Grant (903.849.3239). There is a $25 registration fee and additional child care dues are paid by the semester. Space is limited in order to provide a safe environment, so it is important to register early if planning to utilize child care.

FL!P is an awesome way to engage into scripture with a Bible study, worship and small group discussions. FL!P will take place from 6–7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. Dinner will be served in Pirtle Hall at 5 p.m. with a reservation.
